The Walker Leadership Team adopts the Common Core State Standards to reflect the knowledge and skills that our students need in order to be successful in college and careers. The standards require that students gain knowledge systematically through reading, writing, speaking and listening. High standards that are consistent provide teachers, parents and students with a set of clear expectations that are aligned to the expectations in college and careers.
