At Walker, we believe in developing the whole child. This includes introducing our students to music!
As fifth graders, students learn foundational music theory and practice. The violin is the first instrument our fifth graders are introduced to. Many take this introductory experience and build upon it in within the Mira Mesa cluster. Some even go on to play for the award winning Mira Mesa High School Band!
