Nestled in the heart of Mira Mesa, Walker Elementary is a warm and inclusive neighborhood school dedicated to helping every child thrive. We’re proud to be recognized as both a No Place for Hate campus and a California Purple Star Military School, with a full-time military counselor supporting our students and families. As part of San Diego Unified’s Community Schools initiative, we are growing connections between school, families, and community to ensure every student has what they need to succeed. We have a full-time Community Schools Coordinator on campus to address our school's collective priorities of academic success, engagement, and enrichment. Walker is also a Leader in Me school, where students learn about and build upon their leadership skills each day.
